A modern twist on the traditional Chinato of Piedmont, Italy, this fortified wine blends spice, fruit, and botanicals in a rich aromatic blend. Star anise, cinnamon, and clove lead both the nose and palate, balanced by fig and ginger which impart a touch a sweetness and spice.

Crafted from a small tank of Syrah set aside from our 2024 vintage, the wine was fortified with brandy to 19% ABV and infused for one week with a selection of baking spices, dried fruit, and botanicals. Enjoy on its own or in your favorite winter cocktail!
