Nicholas & Francesca
An alum of The Culinary Institute of America and a Certified Sommelier through The Court of Masters, Nicholas discovered his love of wine running beverage programs in Miami - where he met Francesca. He then participated in his first harvest at Truchard in Napa, California followed by a job at Lawson Dry Hills in New Zealand that same year.
Francesca’s hospitality career began at Starr Restaurants before moving to New York City to manage for Tao Restaurant Group. She further honed her operations and management skills with SoulCycle in Miami before we made the move to Philadelphia with the intention of opening the city’s first independently owned urban winery.
Our mission here at Mural City is to source local grapes from small farms, create beautiful wines with minimal intervention, and share them with all of you while giving back to our amazing city. Hope to see you at the winery soon!
